I like where you guys have come from, you've really tamed the sound you all have together. and you production quality on this is kind of a high quality lo-fi thing.
I'd like to hear the lyrics better, but I like the sonic quality of the delicate verbed out vocals, maybe if you had two tracks, one clean, and one with verb, so the lyrics them selves didn't get as muddled. but actually you did a great job with the sound on them, and that might harm what you've done.
very enjoyed!

this is pretty cool, reminds me a bit of teenage fanclub. the guitar tones are a little too processed. the drums sound a little off tempo in the verses when it goes to the toms. i dig the vocal line and that guitar melody.

I really like the lyrics to this, but they seem to be a bit crammed in places. The b\g vocals repeat such a huge chunk of words that it's not really clear. Try maybe cutting the lyrics down to the bare minimum to get the point across. Otherwise, as I think I commented on the non-EP version of this. "Be-atch" is not a word, but I rocks you can fit it in so well. :gutiarist:

I wasn't so sure when I saw the "alternative" grouping, but you kids have your act together! This stuff is full of original ideas (or at least, original takes on some old ones) the production needs a little work as it's hard to hear the voices in places but beyond that great composition, your playing is tight and melodic, this should be a classic!

I really like that riff you guys use in the breaks. The vocals are drowned out a bit because there's so much going on at once. At the break in the middle, it really sounds chaotic and not pleasant to the ears.
Overall, I love the potential this song has to be GREAT! You guys should just tweak some stuff. Keep it up!

The lead guitar in the intro is very lyrical, an almost Baroque sound. The tune kind of puts me in mind of Matthew Sweet or maybe Todd Rundgren. Love the break just before the two minute mark- very well-crafted and well-timed. The notion of having the clearest, sparsest movement of the entire song come in at the end is very novel and sounds really fresh. A hook-laden piece of Power Pop at its finest.
